BLC – Visual Identity Fresh Up & Advertising
BLC – Blue Lake Communications has been created to communicate, connect, entertain and protect. BLC is operating at national level of security and information technology services. Blue Lake Communications Oy has done 125 years of pioneering intellectual work in mail communication, communication, comfort and safety. Company roots are located in Savonlinna sub-region, but nowadays BLC operates nationwide and has expanded far outside Finland. BLC group employs 230 professionals in 12 locations and makes 30 million euros in turnover per a year.
The brief was to make a visual identity fresh up for a brand and then proceed to creating advertising to wide range of different medias. Only the primary colors and logo had to be left unchanged.
The solution was to modernize all the materials with a new tone of voice in texts and combine them with intuitive imagenary where company or product were always included somehow into images. Step by step all graphic elements and compositions where taken to more simplified structures.
