Levystä Kalusteeksi – Visual Identity
Levystä Kalusteeksi is a yearly based two day event which gathers the experts from the field of woodworking and timber industry to Lahti to three different locations. There were six companies who arrenged the event this year – Olsa, Häfele, Stala, Ramport, Woodim and Helatukku.
The brief was to make a whole new visual identity for the event. Visual identity should be professional looking and bring out the main idea behind the event concept – what the event is all about.
The Solution was to take letters L and K to the basis for the logo and make it look like three dimensional – like a real furniture. Logo represent the path of wood from wooden board to the end product. Visual identity relies to simplified forms, a pair of carefully-considered colors, wooden textures and modern typography.
