Makery – Brand Identity
Makery’s mission is to enhance the food chain, and other industries which are closely related to food business. Makery provides expert services in three complementary areas such as food research and development, new business development, as well as initiatives and services for the industry.
Up to 2013, Helsinki Business and Science Park and Viikki Food Centre had operated as separate units – they decided that it was the right time to develop the activities and look for a new strategy for the two units. They needed a new common brand name and identity.
The solution was to make a comprehensive reform to the identity, which included the new name, visual identity and way of thinking. The company’s services was directed to clearly three different target groups and corporate communications renewed with a new identity. Makery was built as a distinctive brand in the market.
