Lahden Sibeliustalon läheisyyteen on kohoamassa kokonainen puuarkkitehtuuripuisto, johon Piano-paviljonki antaa oman uniikin leimansa. / The Piano Pavilion, commissioned by the Wood in Culture Association and sponsored by Dynea together with other leading Finnish wood industry companies, was completed in Ankkurinranta, in the immediate vicinity of the Sibelius Hall in Lahti, Finland. The building was designed by renowned architect Gert Wingårdh from Sweden. His design echoes and celebrates the work of Italian Renzo Piano, recipient of the 2000 Spirit of Nature Wood Architecture Award. In the immediate vicinity of the Sibelius Hall concert house, the Piano Pavilion is an important architectural sight interesting to Finnish and international visitors alike. The pavilion is part of the Wood Architecture Park in Lahti, consisting of works designed by the winners of the Spirit of Nature Wood Architecture Award.

Re-form bändin perustivat kaksi veljestä, Antti ja Lasse Toivanen, vuonna 2001. Molemmilla oli jo tuolloin monen vuoden kokemus musiikin tekemisestä ja elektroninen musiikki on ollut aina lähellä heidän sydämiään. Re-form on soittanut live-keikkoja monilla isoilla klubeilla ja isoissa tapahtumissa kuten Säteessä, Impulseissa, Locoissa, Furyissä, Finrg-kiertueella ja Movement-tapahtumassa. / Re-form was founded in the year 2001 by two brothers, Antti and Lasse Toivanen . Mainostorstai is a one day advertising venue in the city of Lahti. It is a part of advertising week held yearly in Finland. Year 2010 theme was a digital marketing and advertising.

Lahden Jazztori is a jazz based event held every september in the city of Lahti. In the year 1989 was the first summer when the event “rocked” out.

Tarvitsetko todella turvonneen kirjasimen omaan suunnittelutyöhösi? Eipä hätiä mitiä. Tämä todella lihava ja minimalistinen kirjasin voi olla juuri sopiva etsimääsi tarkoitukseen. Fontti on kokonaan ilmainen, mutta olen enemmän kuin iloinen jos päätät lahjoittaa muutaman euron tulevien ilmaisten kirjainten suunnittelua varten.

Vuonna 1992 perustettu retkeily- ja ulkoilutarvikkeiden erikoisliike Partioretki sai uuden raikkaan ilmeen ja nimen. Brändiuudistuksen myötä syntyi Trekki. Brändiuudistus näkyy mm. viestinnässä, markkinoinnissa, myymäläilmeessä ja sosiaalisissa medioissa.

Lahden Amarillo Bar avattiin uudelleen remontin jälkeen syyskuussa 2009. Amarillo Bar tarjoaa viihtyisän paikan nuorille aina päivästä yöhön asti. Erilaiset bändit ja DJ:t tuovat iltoihin raikasta menoa keskelle kaupunkia.
 
Lahti´s Amarillo Bar reopened at september 2009 after remodelling. Amarillo Bar offers pleasant place for youth from midday to midnight. Different kinds of bands and DJs brings the fresh athmosphere to the middle of city.
