This beer began its journey over 10,000 years ago, when Ice Age meltwater found its way to Vellamo’s deep well in Heinola. Etko Brewery transformed this high-quality mineral water into a smooth lager, best enjoyed cold and slow, just as it was brewed.
Case & Solution
At march 2025 Vellamo® Water asked me join to create the visual identity for their new product – Ice Age Lager, developed in collaboration with ETKO Brewing. The project included designing the logo for the product and specifically creating the standout design for the beer. The product was launched on May 10, 2025, at Tubecon Awards 2025 in Logomo, Turku.
The visual design reflects an Ice Age glacier, within which a stream of ice-cold, sparkling beer flow. Ultimately, this stream takes the shape of a beer glass on the side of the can.
